This simple refractor telescope is made by combining the large lens, the ‘objective’ lens, which gathers light and bends it into focus, with the smaller lens, the eyepiece, which brings the bright image from the focus and magnifies it to the size of your eye’s pupil. In the process magnifying the faraway objects you are looking at.
